Sample Service

We strongly suggest you request a sample of your favourite design from our portfolio before ordering.
**Maximum of 2 please**

You can order sample invitations online (see the relevant design page) cost from £4.00 - £6.00 each. If you prefer, you can use the printable form (click here to download) which you can complete and post with your payment (see Price List for costs) to: XOXO, Yarasin, Burnside Gardens, Kirkcudbright, DG6 4JY.

Note: by purchasing a design sample you are entering a legally binding agreement that the sample is for personal use only and will not be replicated by yourself or a third party.

As our wedding stationery is handmade, please allow at least two weeks for receipt of your sample. If you require your sample more urgently, please let us know.

Custom-made charges

We are happy to work with you to create a design unique to your wedding, Please contact us to discuss your ideas and our charges for this service.

How we create your order

We send you an order form with your sample. (If you want to place an order without first viewing a sample, please contact us with your details and we will send an order form to you.)

When you choose your design you need to complete the order form and return it to us with a 50% deposit (non-refundable). We cannot book production time or begin work until we have both your deposit and order form. To avoid disappointment we urge you to do this as soon as possible - ideally at least four months before you need your stationery.

It is not necessary to supply all the information about your wedding when completing the order form. All we ask is that you detail ALL the items and the quantities you need. For on the day items, we will request the details later..

We then produce layout proofs of the 'first dispatch' items (these are usually invitations, reply cards and thank-you items). These will be emailed to you in pdf format for proofreading and approval.

Once approved, we then begin production.

We complete your 'first dispatch' items within 6 - 12 weeks after getting your approved proofs.

We then work on your ‘on the day' items (such as orders of service, menus and favours). The information to complete these must be with us eight weeks before your wedding. The only exception is information for table plans and place cards, which you can send up to four weeks before the day. As with ‘first dispatch' items you will be emailed layout proofs for all your ‘on the day' items (excluding table cards, table plans and guest books), which you must approve.
